The self-proclaimed reptile capital of the World, Alligator Adventures is home to over 800 alligators ranging in age from babies to 15-foot adult alligators. You will find skilled lecturers hanging out with more than 300 alligators in main exhibit pool. Lecturers will explain about the alligators while feeding and handling them. If you are really lucky, they might even let you get your picture taken with one of the gators.
If alligators give you the creeps, Alligator Adventures has a slew of other animals as well. Recently added to the exhibits was a group of ring-tailed lemurs. Lemurs are highly-social primates indigenous to Madagascar, and these playful fellows spend all day playing with toys or sunbathing. Also new to Alligator Adventures is Egyptian Fruit Bats. Like most other bats, these bats are nocturnal and swarm around the caverns located in the park. There is also an assortment of turtles, snakes, frogs, bobcats and tigers that can be found at this zoological park. There is so much to see at Alligator Adventures that it takes two days to see everything, which is why when you purchase a ticket to the park it gets you in the next day for free.
