Pet Friendly Springmaid Beach Resort

Springmaid Beach Resort is happy to welcome the rest of your family. We’ve created a special place by setting aside 13 rooms on the first floor of the Cypress Buidling and area just outside there for your lovable canine family members. Now, you’ll be able to enjoy all the best Springmaid has to offer, and so will your dog!
As with all hotel and lodging properties, there are rules to ensure that all other guests and the property itself are kept safe and sound. Please click on and review the Rules & Waiver below clearly before booking your stay and again before arrival.
Once you are familiar with the policies, booking and staying are simple. Just….
1) Book your stay either online or through our reservations call center and be sure to identify yourself as a dog owner and that you will need to be booked in one of the 13 units in the Cypress Building Dog Friendly Floor. There are a limited number of these and they are available on a first come, first served basis.
2) Review the Resort’s Dog Policies to be sure you and your dog qualify and are familiar with the rules.
3) Visit the website (this page) to download the Dog Waiver
4) Obtain a current copy of your dog’s immunization record. All dogs must be up to date. This record must either be faxed to us ahead of time (Fax # 843-315-6144) or presented at check in. Please note: if we have reserved a room for you and your dog(s) and you do not have the record, your dog will not be allowed to stay and you will be charged for the room.
5) Once you check in, be sure to keep your dog on a leash and within designated “Pet Friendly” areas at all times, and Enjoy!

1. Only dogs allowed. No other pets please.
2. Max 2 dogs per guest room.
3. 35 lbs maximum weight limit.
4. Only non-aggressive breeds allowed.
5. Must be on leash at all times outside of guest room.
6. When outside guest room, dogs allowed only in designated “Pet Friendly” area outside the Cypress Building.
7. Guest required to dispose of pet waste as noted in Rules & Pet Waiver documents.
8. Daily fee is $25 per room.

Don’t Have a Dog? Your Questions Answered!
For all the rest of our guests who don’t bring dogs (and dog owners too), you want to be assured of a continued positive, safe and clean experience at Springmaid. We understand….please read on.
- There are only 13 out of 492 rooms that are dog friendly units. That’s less than 3% of the Resort’s units.
- The units allowing dogs are the only ones EVER which will host a canine guest. None of the other units will ever host a dog.
- These 13 rooms are located together and limited to the first floor only of the Cypress Building. Two of our other towers – Live Oak and Palmetto – have no dog friendly units.
- As with most hotels and properties, Springmaid already engages in thorough cleaning of each room as well as regular industry and state-regulated cleanliness and pest control operations. We will be thoroughly and regularly cleaning and maintaining these and all rooms at Springmaid Beach Resort.
