Springmaid Will Host Crafts & Jewelry Show on Mother's Day Weekend

March, 2010, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Springmaid Beach Resort and Conference Center recently announced that it is adding a new event to the Myrtle Beach Mother’s Day Festivities: a Jewelry, Arts & Crafts Show. With its Holiday Arts & Crafts Show having been so successful and growing continuously over these past two decades, the staff answered the demand for more of it. As visitors to their Holiday Craft Show numbering well into the thousands and many of those being women, it made sense to Springmaid staff to bring the craft show back on a weekend honoring mothers.

This spacious 27-acre resort, located on the south end of the Grand Strand, will utilize its extensive meeting space, as well as its grounds and lawn areas, to stage the event. Popular items may include: unique jewelry, personalized golf markers, hand-painted porcelain, hand-crafted specialty soaps, embroidered items, Adirondack furniture, stylish hand bags, photographic prints, rag quilted items and so much more. As always, a ton of tasty food and beverages will be available during the event.

Holly Simon, Craft Show Coordinator for Springmaid Beach Resort, has managed the Holiday Craft Show and is excited to add a spring event, “We have such wonderful response to the Holiday Craft Show each year, and people are always asking us to do another one. We finally decided to do it!”
