Dear Springmaid Resort,
Hi. I wanted to tell you guys we loved your resort we had made reservations with another resort in the area and when we got there we had to ask for our money back because it was awful and then we went over to your place and I walked in and got the price couldn’t believe it to begin with because it was almost half what the others were asking.  So, I thought oh no there rooms and pools will be gross, but to my surprise it was beautiful the rooms were perfect in every way.  The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the pools were fabulous and my two boys loved the private fishing pier and the beach access was awesome too.  We also played in your mini golf course and we loved the way it was so private compared to the other courses in the area and the landscaping around the course was gorgeous and very relaxing.  One more thing your staff was very helpful in putting my family first and finding us a great place to spend our summer vacation. THANK YOU SO MUCH SPRINGMAID RESORT, we will return to your resort every year form now on!!!!!

I am always a little nervous when I book my family into a new resort for the very first time. What you see on the internet is not necessarily what you get. I am please to say however that this was not the case at Springmaid Resort. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. When I booked the reservation, I asked them to not book us too high up and they honored my request. The resort is VERY family friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked an extra night and would have loved to have stayed more nights if our schedule had permitted it.!

Springmaid Beach Resort is an older property, as are most in Myrtle Beach, but it is CLEAN, and many of rooms have been remodeled. The restaurant wasn’t “pretty,” but food was good and plentiful, and there was a huge variety – we had 14 people traveling together, and everyone found what they wanted to eat. Kids were very happy with the lazy rivers and tot pools, and the beach area was not crowded. The pier almost cuts the beach off from the other hotels further down the strip. I think that the location is excellent. It’s the first resort in Myrtle Beach on the south end and is near Murrell’s Inlet, but you can also be at Broadway at the Beach in 10 minutes. I highly recommend SpringMaid Beach Resort.

Sometimes when renting over the Internet, you are disappointed. This did NOT happen with Springmaid. We were more than happy with our choice. We love the way we were separated from the other hotels on the beach. Your beach was never crowded and the view from our room was excellent…

We loved our vacation. This is a great place for a family vacation. Also the pier was nice. The view from the balcony of the ocean was really nice. Having a full size fridge, a microwave and coffeemaker in room was a plus. Springmaid Resort – thank you for a great vacation at a great price. I’m recommending you to all of my friends..

This hotel is great place for families and really is in good condition for the age of the property. Excellent air-conditioner, stayed like an ice box the entire time. Room has a large fridge, microwave, and nice view from all rooms. Fishing pier is a major plus! The morning breakfast buffet with omelet station for $8 was a steal. Overall, great location for riding bikes near the old Air Force base, beaches were great also. It’s on my list to go back soon!

My husband and I stayed at the Springmaid Resort from July 3-6, 2007. We got into town early and were allowed to check-in our room about an hour early, which was very nice after a long drive. The security chain on the door was broken on arrival but maintenance came right away and replaced it with a brand new one. The maintenance guys were very friendly and able to change the hardware within an hour of our request to the front desk.

Good included: Great ocean view, recently updated room, large fridge in room, microwave and coffee maker in room, large safe, quiet at night (Cypress Building), maid service , several pools, pier on-site, and two restaurants on-site.

All resort personnel we interacted with were nice. We both agreed that the breakfast buffet was good, and it was very nice to walk next door for breakfast instead of getting in the car to find a place to eat.
