Wireless internet has been installed throughout the resort during Spring 2009, including guest rooms and conference facilities.

Our guests can walk out on the pier for free by displaying their activity bands. The pier is open to the public for a $1 walking fee.

All fishing requires a state fishing pass, which is available at our Pier Tackle Shop. Hotel guests recieve a discount on fishing passes by showing your activity band.

Rod rentals are available at the Pier Tackle Shop on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Fishing bait is available for purchase at the Pier Tackle Shop.

Shark fishing is strictly prohibited.

Springmaid Beach Resort offers discounts on many Myrtle Beach theaters and attractions. Contact our reservations staff for current pricing.

The indoor pools at Live Oak and Palmetto buildings are heated.

We do not offer any rooms featuring jacuzzis.

We do not offer any hot tubs, spas, or steam rooms on our property.

Fireworks are prohibited both in the city of Myrtle Beach and on our property.

Laundry facilities are located on the first floor of the Palmetto building.

Shuttle service is not available, however the airport offers numerous transportation options including taxi service and car rentals.

We are located near the new Market Commons shopping and dining district. We are in easy driving distance to Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets on Hwy 501 and Broadway at the Beach.

All resort rooms offer queen size beds.

While we make every effort to accommodate guests’ requests for specific room locations, this is not always possible, and rooms assignments are not guaranteed.

While some room types feature sofas, they are not sleeper sofas.

Cribs are available on a first-come first-serve basis for no extra charge.

Rollaways are available on a first-come first-serve basis for a $15 daily fee. We recommend reserving in advance.

We offer a discount to AARP, AAA, and Founders Federal Credit Union members. This is a limited discount and can sell out.

Yes, your first night stay is required within 10 days of the date you make your reservation. The balance is due when you arrive.

Yes, you can make partial payments at any time. Only your original deposit would be forfeited in the event that you should need to cancel.

While guaranteed check-in begins at 4 PM, if your accommodations are ready when you arrive, we will allow you to check-in. Guests who arrive earlier than check-in time may stop by the front desk to pre-register and recieve their activity bands to enjoy the resort while they wait for their accommodations to become available.

Cancellations recieved 14 days or less from the scheduled day or arrival will result in forfeiture of deposit. Cancellations recieved 15 days or more from the scheduled arrival date will result in refund of desposit, less $25 cancellation fee. Changes to the duration of a reservation must be made at least 5 days prior to arrival or guest will be charged for entire reservation length. No refunds for early departures.

Because hurricane forecasting can be difficult, each storm is handled individually. If the government should issue a mandatory evacuation, the resort will issue full refund of deposit or allow the guest to transfer their money to a future date.

We do not have any affiliations with a time-share program.

Room reservations are accepted from guests 21 years of age or older. Guest making the rerservation must occupy the room.
