Myrtle Beach Downtown
Nearly all of Myrtle Beach's new Oceanfront Boardwalk is open for your enjoyment. The Boardwalk and Promenade stretch 1.2 miles along Myrtle Beach's oceanfront, from the Second Avenue Pier to the 14th Avenue Pier. The boardwalk itself features three different sections varying in width and following a serpentine pattern with the dune line. Now open, the Boardwalk and Promenade will provide visitors and residents with a contrasting pedestrian alternative to Ocean Boulevard. The location, dimensions and material used for the Boardwalk and Promenade will create an enjoyable place to stroll, chat, shop and jog.
