2012 Coastal Uncorked Food & Wine Festival
It’s almost time for the 3rd Annual Coastal Uncorked Food & Wine festival! The 2012 Coastal Uncorked festival is sure to be the best yet, with a new location near the ocean at the former site of the Myrtle Beach Pavilion!
This year, the Coastal Uncorked festival will take place from April 22-29, 2012. The event features tasting tents for sampling wine, live music, restaurant vendors, baked goods vendors, and even grape stomping! Tickets are on sale now, and tasting tent passes are only $30.
The fun of the Coastal Uncorked Food & Wine Festival isn’t limited to the main event. There will be numerous other events throughout festival week such as the “Sip, Savor and Stroll” event being held at The Market Common on April 26th and the Chef’s Challenge & Tasting Finale on April 29th. There will even be a cooking class and dinner with the winner of last year’s Chef ‘s Challenge, Eric Masson of The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro.
An Oyster Roast on February 26th will kick off the countdown to the big festivities. This event will be held at Sea Captain’s House from 1-4pm on February 26. Listen to a live band while sampling fresh oysters, spirits, wine and desserts!
If you’re interested in visiting Myrtle Beach from out of town for the 2012 Coastal Uncorked festival, consider booking a room at the Springmaid Beach Resort, one of the best Myrtle Beach hotels. Located just minutes from the grounds where Coastal Uncorked will be held and from Market Common, Springmaid Beach Resort is the perfect place in Myrtle Beach to stay for the event! Many students and families will be visiting Myrtle Beach near the end of April, so it is important to book your rooms and purchase tickets for Coastal Uncorked as early as possible.
Coastal Uncorked is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated events in Myrtle Beach, and Springmaid Beach Resort looks forward to accommodating you for the fun!
If you love wine and food (and, let’s be honest, who doesn’t?) this is the event for you!
